Our Commitment to Child Safety
QuietSpace is committed to providing a safe environment for all users. We have zero tolerance for any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE) on our platform, including any material depicting or promoting the sexual exploitation of minors. This document explains how we prevent, detect, respond to, and report such content in line with international child protection standards and applicable laws.
Zero-Tolerance CSAM Policy
We prohibit and remove any child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or content that sexualizes minors, whether real, animated, illustrated, or generated by AI. Any account found sharing, uploading, requesting, or promoting such content will be permanently banned, and the content will be preserved as evidence and reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement authorities. No warning or second chance is given for CSAM-related violations.
Age Requirements
QuietSpace is intended for users aged 13 and older. Users under 18 may have limited access to certain features. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a user is under 13, their account is immediately disabled and their data deleted. Parents or guardians who believe their child under 13 has created an account may contact us at support@quietspace.social for immediate removal.
Content Moderation Practices
We use a combination of user reports, community moderator review, and automated detection to identify and remove harmful content. All uploaded images are subject to review, and reports flagged as CSAE are prioritized for immediate human review within 24 hours. Our moderator team is trained to identify and escalate child safety violations. Repeat offenders and grooming behavior patterns are actively monitored and result in permanent bans.
How to Report Child Safety Concerns
Users can report any post, comment, message, or profile suspected of violating child safety standards by tapping the report icon on the relevant content in the app and selecting the appropriate category. Reports may also be sent directly to support@quietspace.social with the subject line "CHILD SAFETY REPORT". All reports are confidential and reviewed by our safety team. Reporters remain anonymous to the reported party.
Our Response to Reports
Upon receiving a CSAE-related report, our team acts within 24 hours to review and, if confirmed, immediately remove the content, ban the associated account, preserve evidence including account information, timestamps, IP addresses, and content, and report the incident to NCMEC and appropriate national authorities. We do not require reporters to provide personal information to file a report.
Cooperation with Authorities
QuietSpace fully cooperates with law enforcement and child protection agencies worldwide. We report confirmed CSAM incidents to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States, to the Indonesian National Police Cyber Crime Directorate (Direktorat Tindak Pidana Siber Bareskrim Polri), and to relevant authorities in other jurisdictions where required. We comply with valid legal requests including subpoenas, search warrants, and court orders.
Data Preservation for Investigations
When a CSAE-related report is confirmed, we preserve associated account data (username, email, IP address, device information, uploaded content, and communication logs) for at least 90 days or as required by law, whichever is longer. This data is stored securely and only accessed by authorized safety personnel or provided to law enforcement pursuant to valid legal process.
Prevention Measures
We employ multiple layers of prevention: user education through community guidelines, restrictions on direct messaging with new or unverified accounts, moderation of group memberships, active monitoring of reported profiles, and ongoing improvement of our detection systems. We prohibit any solicitation of personal information from minors and any attempt to move conversations off-platform for the purpose of grooming.
